Our next stop is the Lippina by Filippo Lippi, a refined and delicate work that represents the Virgin Mary with the Child. We will continue the visit by admiring two of the most famous works of the gallery, Botticelli’s Primavera and Birth of Venus, two masterpieces that represent the beauty and elegance of Renaissance art. From the gallery, you can also enjoy a panoramic view of the Ponte Vecchio, the oldest bridge in Florence, dating back to the Middle Ages. We will then proceed to the Leonardo Da Vinci Room, where we can admire the Annunciation, a work that represents one of his most famous works. In the Michelangelo and Raphael Room, we can admire the Tondo Doni, an extraordinary work that represents the Holy Family. This Michelangelo masterpiece is one of his few surviving paintings on wood panel.
