“To begin, our guide will be waiting for visitors at the door of Giotto’s bell tower, from where we will start our journey into the history of the iconic symbol of Florence: The Cathedral.
Inside, we will reveal the details of the history of the city’s most important church and the construction of its impressive Dome, considered a miracle of 15th-century architecture. Finally, we will explain the wonderful fresco decoration of the Universal Judgment located above the altar of the Cathedral.
Once the guided tour inside the Cathedral is over, visitors can independently visit the other buildings and exhibitions in the Cathedral’s monumental complex. This ticket is valid for 72 hours and includes: Brunelleschi Dome, the Opera del Duomo Museum, Giotto’s Bell Tower, the Crypt of Santa Reparata, and the Baptistery of San Giovanni.
IMPORTANT: Access to the Dome is scheduled for a specific time at 12:00 pm on the day of the reservation (except for particular cases that will be communicated in advance).”
